We Started ReliableGoods Because Our Dog Deserved Better
My name is Brandon Gruber, and I have a Bernedoodle who is, objectively, the best dog in the world.
When I first started buying grooming products for him, I did what most people do: I grabbed whatever had the most reviews on Amazon and called it a day. Big mistake. After a few weeks of wiping him down with popular pet wipes, I noticed his skin was getting irritated. Dry patches. Scratching. The kind of thing that makes you feel like a bad dog owner.
I started reading ingredient labels. What I found surprised me: baking soda, artificial fragrances, alcohol, preservatives I couldn’t pronounce. Ingredients that are flat-out drying and irritating to a dog’s skin. And these were the bestselling products.
I’m an entrepreneur by background — I’ve built businesses before. But this was personal. I couldn’t find a pet brand that was genuinely honest about what was in their products, who made no-BS claims, and who actually put ingredient quality first. So I decided to build one.
