Does this replace a deshedding comb?
No, and we are not going to pretend it does. The glove works the surface coat and lifts loose hair that is already on its way out. If your dog has a thick double coat with packed undercoat underneath, the glove skims the top and leaves the rest sitting there. Clear that out with the 2-in-1 Grooming Comb first, then use the glove to keep up between sessions.
Will it pull or scratch?
The tips are soft silicone, not wire. They flex over the coat instead of catching on it, and there are no metal teeth anywhere on the glove.
Does it work on cats?
Yes. Go lighter than you would on a dog, and stroke with the coat rather than against it. The bristles work the surface coat the same way they do on a dog, and the collected hair rolls off the glove the same way.
Do I get one glove or a pair?
